The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering comprehensive patient care, including assessment, care planning, and execution of quality nursing services for a designated group of patients during a specified work period. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients through professional nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Administer prescribed medications, perform dressing changes, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, conditions, reactions, and progress.
- Deliver direct patient care with compassion, excellence, and efficiency.
- Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Continuously evaluate personal practice against professional standards and relevant regulations.
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program. The minimum educational requirement is an Associate Degree in Nursing, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Six months to one year of experience as a licensed RN or possession of an active Graduate Nurse permit.
- Current RN License in the state of employment or a compact license.
- Valid Graduate Nurse Permit.
- Individuals with an unsuccessful licensure application or those on the 75th day following the effective date of a temporary permit will be transitioned to another role within the organization.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
This position is full-time.
