Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to actively listen and effectively solve problems, ensuring that service requests and repairs are executed accurately and promptly. Responsibilities include the safe operation of vehicles and maintenance equipment, while fostering positive public relations through constructive interactions with staff, students, parents, and the community.

Physical Requirements

This role necessitates the ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs, as well as the capability to lift, carry, push, and pull various supplies and materials weighing up to 80 pounds. Work is often conducted outdoors in diverse weather conditions, requiring regular standing, reaching, stretching, crouching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Weekend coverage on a rotating basis is also a requirement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Basic proficiency in the use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Completion of a background check through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation fingerprint report as per State of Ohio Law.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Capability to lift 80 pounds.
