Position Overview:


We are seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Analyst who is technically proficient, eager to learn, security-focused, proactive, and capable of managing projects independently.

The Cybersecurity team safeguards the organization's digital framework by designing, executing, and enhancing the cybersecurity architecture.

This pivotal role is responsible for defending infrastructure, cloud services, edge devices, and data from unauthorized access, alteration, extraction, or damage.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop security solutions independently while collaborating with various internal teams and external vendors;

Evaluate security systems and pursue ongoing enhancements;

Investigate vulnerabilities, conduct vulnerability assessments, and mitigate threats;

Enhance security best practices and policies within the organization;

Create new processes while cross-training colleagues and supporting staff on security-related issues;

Deliver security awareness training and assessments for employees to ensure compliance with security protocols;

Conduct cybersecurity incident response, analyze logs, and perform remediation tasks; and

Assess and minimize excessive access rights to promote least privilege access.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Cybersecurity or Information Technology;

Previous internship or co-op experience in Information Security;

Knowledge of security best practices and their implementation at an organizational level;

Experience in managing, configuring, and deploying enterprise-level security solutions, including SIEM, Privileged Access Management, Identity Access, Endpoint Detection & Response, cloud architectures like Azure/AWS, and Active Directory;

Excellent communication skills; and

Basic scripting abilities, such as PowerShell or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus and Tenable;

Experience with enterprise web proxy solutions, web filters, and VPNs such as Zscaler;

Knowledge of managing Windows environments, including Group Policy Objects (GPO);

Prior experience in a highly regulated sector such as healthcare, finance, or defense, with familiarity with standards like ISO, NIST, HIPAA, and/or SOC2; and

Experience in auditing and policy development.
