Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute part processing through both chemical and manual cleaning techniques.
  • Engage in various tasks including receiving, processing, scrubbing, masking, chemical treatment, machine operation, etching, blasting, coating, drying, and baking as required.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Lean manufacturing principles, and company policies.
  • Complete training on designated processes and maintain organization within the assigned work area.
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Handle hazardous materials with care, following all safety protocols for usage and disposal.
  • Contribute to safety programs and complete necessary training.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management to achieve task objectives.
  • Uphold a high standard of safety and environmental awareness through diligent work practices.
  • Seek opportunities for skill enhancement and process learning.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks efficiently in a production environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to comply with work area gowning requirements.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental practices, including 6S methodology.
  • Capability to perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) measurements and data logging.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Associate degree in a technical field or some college coursework is advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing processes or materials handling.
  • Preferred experience of 3+ years in a hands-on role.
  • Familiarity with parts cleaning and coating technologies is desirable.
  • Experience with Kaizen or Lean methodologies is a significant advantage.
  • Background in media blasting and quality assurance is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in the parts cleaning sector is a plus.
  • Exposure to high-tech or semiconductor environments is preferred.

Work Environment:

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 40 lbs consistently.
  • Regular exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Work in a cleanroom setting.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Personal protective equipment is required as necessary.
  • Work may involve frequent interruptions.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels from office equipment.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
