Position Overview:
As a Senior IT Business Analyst specializing in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of Emerging Blue, Inc. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional eager to contribute to the evolution of our IT team and support our growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: You will act as the primary functional lead for the WMS on the IT team, collaborating with operations leaders to identify and define requirements that align with our business processes. Your expertise will guide the design, implementation, and testing of new functionalities.
- Process Optimization: In partnership with business process leaders, you will develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation. You will conduct gap analyses, assess system capabilities, and oversee the selection and implementation of software solutions, ensuring best practices are applied throughout.
- Systems Integration: You will manage software implementation projects, facilitating communication between business leaders and developers. Your hands-on approach will ensure effective training and support for new systems, including Warehouse Execution Systems and related upgrades.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business information systems or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience with WMS implementations, preferably with Manhattan or Made4Net systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes.
- Strong grasp of supply chain principles and their application within a SaaS environment.
- Ability to analyze and improve existing warehouse processes for optimal efficiency.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in application support and problem resolution.
Compensation:
Competitive salary range of $144k-$160k, plus a performance-based bonus.
