Job Summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist III Site Lead to join our team. As a Site Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of phlebotomists and ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Service Centers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of phlebotomists and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of daily tasks.
  • Ensure that all patient specimens are collected and processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency within the Patient Service Center.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
