Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rounds Chef to join our team at Port City Air Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing food preparation, presentation, and culinary activities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality food products for corporate events, social gatherings, and military operations
• Participate in military troop production builds, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food products
• Cater to special events and banquets, providing exceptional service and attention to detail
• Execute existing menus and event orders to a high standard of quality, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Perform moderate administrative duties, including communication with the Kitchen Manager, Managing Director, and Director of Operations
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Verifiable work experience in a culinary or food preparation role
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, ensuring a positive experience for customers and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
• ServeSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, with frequent standing and walking required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
