Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential/group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living support to individuals, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Implement activities and programs to promote socialization, adaptive skills, and community integration.
  • Monitor and record medication intake as needed.
  • Collaborate with the residential facility's program goals and objectives to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain accurate and complete progress notes on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of verifiable direct care experience with MH/IDD patients.
  • Healthcare documents: Physical and TB/PPD screening (within one year).
  • Background Check: PA State Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint, Child Abuse Clearance (within the last year).
  • Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License and personal reliable transportation.
