Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced travel nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines, administering medications, and performing ECGs.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
- Current BLS certification from a reputable vendor.
- Additional certifications may be required, such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
- 1 full year of RN experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
