Position Overview:
Homestead Home Health Care Services is in search of dedicated and empathetic Resident Caregivers to support our residents in their daily lives.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine desire to assist others, demonstrate strong communication abilities, and build meaningful connections with seniors.
(No Licenses or Certifications required) - Training provided, immediate openings availableShifts available: 1st and 3rd
Key Responsibilities:
1. Aid clients with daily living activities, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
3. Ensure a clean living environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
4. Report any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
5. Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers at Homestead.
6. Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including infection control measures.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High school diploma or GED is required.
3. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
4. Experience working with elderly individuals is preferred.
5. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
6. Availability to work every other weekend.
7. Reliable transportation is necessary.
8. Valid Driver's license or ID required.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with punctuality for every shift.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time role. Resident Caregivers will be scheduled for 8-hour shifts, with a requirement to work every other weekend.
Compensation:
Starting hourly wage is $16.00, with opportunities for advancement.
