We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of food.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and marketing, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
- Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or casino environment.
- Proven track record of success in menu development, cost control, and team management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
