Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Kiddie Academy is seeking a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about preparing and serving nutritious meals for children. The ideal candidate will be adept at modifying menus to accommodate children with dietary restrictions or allergies, managing food orders, and overseeing inventory for all kitchen supplies. This role requires strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and flexibility to take on temporary tasks within the academy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Possession of a Food ServSafe Certification as mandated by the state of Illinois.
  • Able to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Must submit a health examination report completed within the last six months, confirming the absence of communicable diseases, including active tuberculosis, and any physical or mental conditions that may hinder job performance. This examination must include a tuberculosis test using the Mantoux method. Individuals in cooking and food handling roles must disclose their positions to the examining physician and comply with the Illinois Department of Public Health regulations regarding Food Service Sanitation.
