Job Summary:

We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at Crane's Mill in West Caldwell. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for facilitating social, cultural, and therapeutic programming for our residents. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about creating engaging experiences.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist residents to and from social, cultural, and therapeutic programs.
  2. Meet with new admissions to assess their leisure interests and pursuits.
  3. Present an energetic outlook to encourage resident participation.
  4. Keep a daily log of program participants.
  5. Network to create ideas for monthly calendar events.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy preferred.
  • Certification in Recreational Therapy preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
Work Schedule:
Flexible with work hours and willing to work every other weekend and potentially two evenings per month or as needed.
