About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented leader to join our Housekeeping team as Assistant Executive Housekeeper. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven individual to grow a career in hospitality with a world-class property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with oversight of the Housekeeping operations to lead the team to achieve high standards in cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
  • Involved in the financial performance of the hotel with responsibilities to include managing the annual budget, maintaining labor costs to forecast/budget, managing spending accounts, and reviewing monthly Profit & Loss reports.
  • Develop and mentor a team to provide exceptional service and ensure proper training materials are in place and used by each department.
  • Monitor inventory of room products, including linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, and partner with the Front Desk team to develop a VIP program.
  • Lead by example to ensure all guest interactions are handled in a professional manner and provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest.
  • Inspect all areas of the hotel for cleanliness and assign deep cleaning projects as necessary, and help to resolve problems and WOW guests through recovery when things aren't quite right.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance and Front Desk teams to communicate and coordinate the day, and interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience leading a Housekeeping team in a service-focused hotel or resort environment.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • A strong desire to make an impact on other people and an outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with PMS systems, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
