About the Role

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Center Store Associate to join our team. As a Center Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restock and maintain the center store area, including cutting, marking, and stocking cases as outlined in our training guide.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with finding items in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
Requirements
  • Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established volume/activity standards.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time and frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting individual stock items.
Preferred Requirements
  • Observe and follow all company policies and established procedures.
  • Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  • Maintain good communications with the management team and all other associates.
  • Perform all assigned cleaning functions in accordance with company standard practices.
  • Support company safety standards and communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work.
