About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to compliance. As a Cannabis Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading delivery vans at the beginning of each day with packages that need to be delivered throughout the day.
  • Interpreting and executing state laws and regulations related to medical cannabis delivery.
  • Performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire changes, fluid checks, and other necessary upkeep.
  • Managing documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring accurate completion and proper filing.
  • Maintaining positive professional relationships with dispensary staff.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues that may arise during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety: Safely transport medical cannabis products to clients or businesses, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

Communication: Effectively communicate with customers and dispensary staff regarding delivery details, product information, and any concerns.

Logistics: Load delivery vans efficiently, manage documents accurately, and perform routine vehicle maintenance.

Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery operations and maintain positive working relationships with dispensaries.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Cannabis Delivery Specialist, you must:

  • Be 21 years or older.
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered).
  • Pass pre-employment screenings.
  • Have basic math skills and be able to handle cash transactions.
  • Be able to sit and drive for extended periods while maintaining focus.
  • Physically lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and exercise caution when handling products.
Desired Skills:

Prior experience working with cannabis products in a regulated retail or medical distribution setting is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in computer systems, particularly those used in point-of-sale transactions, is beneficial.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $23 - $25 USD per hour, based on local market conditions and industry standards.
