Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst will facilitate Fixed Income related post-execution processes throughout the trade lifecycle. BGC seeks a well-rounded individual with a four-year degree, ideally in finance, business, or economics. Candidates with operational expertise, including trade processing, cancellations, corrections, settlement locations, and settlement platforms, will be highly regarded. This role is part of a dynamic organization that, unlike traditional financial institutions, operates without rigid boundaries or silos. The Middle Office is continuously evolving the trade flow architecture, and the analyst will also contribute to company-wide initiatives.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to enhance straight-through processing and
  • improve the efficiency of settlement operations
  • Manage trade booking, allocations, and corrections
  • Conduct daily reviews of management reports and reconciliations
  • Assess the implications of changes in regulatory and industry standards
  • Develop and uphold management reporting and performance metrics
  • Oversee trade settlement and reconciliation tracking, fee reconciliation, and give-up processing
  • Collaborate with counterparties to monitor, calculate, and reconcile settlements and
  • address discrepancies
  • Coordinate with back-office teams on trade-related matters

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of the Fixed Income industry is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with sound business judgment
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and intellectually curious
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A collaborative team player comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, catering to various stakeholders

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory

Hybrid Work Model: We are currently implementing a hybrid work model for our shared services personnel (including this position). We expect to maintain these arrangements for the foreseeable future, subject to periodic review.
