We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer Assistant to join our team at our franchise location in Manchester, Michigan. As a Tax Preparer Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting with tax preparation and ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
  • Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
  • Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
