About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings in patient records
  • Perform telephone triage and call rotations
  • Administer treatments and medications, and establish care plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team
  • Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning
  • Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care, and educate patients and families
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of recent experience as an RN
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of recent experience as an RN
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
  • Standing and walking for extensive periods of time
  • Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
  • Some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids
Personal Protective Equipment

This role requires the use of personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
