Criminal Defense Specialist

We are a reputable criminal defense firm in Ohio, offering top-notch representation throughout the state and federal levels.

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.

This role entails providing quality legal services to our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior partners and staff to achieve successful outcomes.

• Determine effective case strategies and solutions based on thorough analysis.
• Conduct research and draft key documents such as pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Prepare necessary legal documents, including correspondence.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and argue motions as needed.
• Offer expert advice by weighing options and planning a course of action.

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

• Proficiency in legal research software, specifically Westlaw/Lexis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; prior experience representing clients for at least 2 years is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while handling a heavy caseload.
• Exceptional decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
