Aerospace Thermal Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Aerospace Thermal Analyst to join our team at KBR in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our Space Suit Design Team, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects and ensuring the structural integrity and thermal performance of components and systems for low Earth orbit and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in thermal analysis in the aerospace industry, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with an emphasis on thermal analysis, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed thermal analyses to evaluate heat transfer, thermal loads, and temperature distributions within aerospace systems.
• Design and implement thermal management solutions to ensure optimal performance and safety under extreme conditions.
• Analyze and implement trade-offs while contributing to the thermal solution of product design from conceptualization to production.
• Lead engineering projects from concept through to production, ensuring that dynamic and thermal considerations are integrated into all phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermal analysis in the aerospace industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of thermal analysis software and tools.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
