Highly Skilled Cardiovascular ICU Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team at Christiana Care Health System. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working 72 hours per pay period, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional care to critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Care for high-acuity patients with complex cardiac conditions, including titrating vasoactive medications, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and rapid weaning.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary patient-focused rounds to ensure seamless communication and effective care coordination.
- Collaborate with the coronary care and cardiac surgery teams to provide expert care and support to patients and families.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
- At least two years of experience caring for high-acuity patients, preferably in a stepdown or critical care setting.
- Current Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS/cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and location.
