Clean Harbors is seeking skilled Laboratory Chemists for their operations at the Kimball, NE Incineration unit. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating samples through advanced chromatography and spectroscopy methods to ascertain their chemical and physical characteristics. Upholding safety standards is paramount in this position.

Position: Laboratory Chemist I-IV

Compensation: $40 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emphasize safety in all laboratory activities
  • Perform sample evaluations using a variety of laboratory equipment
  • Maintain and resolve issues with laboratory instruments
  • Handle waste produced during analytical tasks
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards
  • Complete assigned duties efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is preferred
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in relevant computer software
  • Capable of data analysis
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is necessary
