Job SummaryThe Imaging Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Radiologists and clinical staff in the day-to-day operations of image acquisition, storage, routing, and retrieval. This position requires a strong understanding of software applications, downtime, imaging routing, storage, and retrieval, as well as effective communication with providers, clinical staff, and other customers.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor PACS, EPIC, and PowerShare work lists to assist Radiologists and clinical staff as needed.
- Facilitate communication to providers, clinical staff, and other customers regarding imaging-related matters.
- Assist in other ancillary Imaging departments with patient arrival, image storage, image retrieval, and image viewing.
- Customer Service Required
- Clinical - Radiology or Direct Position Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Associate's Degree in a Related Field Preferred
Days/Evenings, 6:30am-5:00pm, 10:00am-8:30pm, and 7:00am-7:00pm
Weekend and Call RequirementsAs Needed, None
