Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented Civil CAD Drafter to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge land development projects. As a key resource, you will serve as an expert on drafting practices and procedures, supporting our design staff with your expertise. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to deliver high-quality assignments on schedule and in line with Atwell's standards.
Responsibilities- Be a Key Resource: Serve as an expert on drafting practices and procedures, supporting our design staff with your expertise.
- Master the Tools: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to deliver high-quality assignments on schedule and in line with Atwell's standards.
- Create Impactful Drawings: Produce a variety of project-specific drawings, including soil erosion plans, site layouts, grading plans, storm sewer designs, water and sanitary sewer plans, construction layouts, and staking.
- Analyze Site Data: Review project survey data to assess existing site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documentation.
- Adapt and Edit: Modify plans as needed based on feedback from agencies, municipalities, and clients, ensuring all revisions are accurate and up to date.
- Stay Aligned: Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Team Leaders about workflow status to achieve project goals and maintain efficiency.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: 2+ years of design experience in Residential, Commercial, or Industrial Land Development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
