We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages, including obstetric, gynecologic, and musculoskeletal exams.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with education and training of staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Associate's degree from an approved AMA school or equivalent education/experience.
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in cross-sectional anatomy and the principles of physics related to ultrasound.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Three years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
