Job Overview:

This role requires a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to work with students who require speech or language support. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with the ARD Committee and classroom teachers to enhance communication skills in students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
  • Therapy Services: Plan and provide individual and group therapy to students, ensuring alignment with IEP goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the ARD Committee and classroom teachers to develop strategies to improve communication skills in students.
  • Professional Growth: Provide valuable insights and professional development to school personnel to identify and understand communication deficits.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Communicative Sciences or Disorders
  • Licenses: Valid Texas SLP License
  • Language Skills: Bilingual
