The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services to aid patients in establishing recovery from alcohol and/or drug dependency. This role involves working as part of the Emergency Department team to provide peer support and motivation to patients seeking treatment for addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in completing referrals to treatment services
  • Develop plans to promote successful linkage to treatment and recovery support services
  • Provide peer support and motivation to patients in the Emergency Department
Requirements
  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than 1 year of experience required
  • Carroll County Health Service Corp certification
