Job Title: MFLC Counselor - Alaska

Goldbelt Glacier is seeking a qualified MFLC Counselor to provide short-term, non-medical counseling and outreach services to military service members and their families in Alaska. This is a standby, intermittent position to fill in for vacancies and absences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, couples, group counseling, briefings, and presentations to decrease the stigma associated with counseling.
  • Work closely with military branch points of contact to ensure program services meet the needs of the assigned installation.
  • Provide proactive outreach to service members and their families via walk-around counseling.
Requirements:
  • Licensure at the independent practice level (LCSW, LMFT, LPC LCPC, LMHC).
  • Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health-related field.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Experience working with children and youth, with a specialty in child and adolescent development/psychology.

Salary and leveling commensurate with experience.
