The Culinary Supervisor serves as the right hand to the Executive Chef, overseeing and coordinating the kitchen staff and culinary operations. This role involves managing food preparation when necessary and ensuring that all kitchen personnel adhere to the quality standards set by the Executive Chef and management team. In the absence of the Executive Chef, the Culinary Supervisor will take on their responsibilities. Collaboration with the culinary team is essential to guarantee exceptional customer service and high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the establishment based on scheduled shifts.
• Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are accurately executed by the team.
• Guide staff with tasks during quieter periods.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate specials, inventory shortages, and performance goals.
• Monitor food and stock levels, reporting any items that are low, expired, or unusable.
• Assist with weekly inventory management.
• Support catering preparations and setup as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns to the management team for resolution.
• Ensure all staff members on duty meet company performance standards.
• Manage cash handling accurately during opening and closing procedures.
• Address customer concerns in the absence of the Executive Chef or Culinary Manager.
• Participate in food production activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
