Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Cone Health. As an Orthopedic Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our physicians with the care and treatment of patients with orthopedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and remove casts, splints, and other orthopedic appliances as instructed by physicians.
  • Adjust and educate patients and staff on the proper use of pre-fab braces for the back, upper extremity, and lower extremity.
  • Assist with the setup and adjustment of medical equipment, such as crutches, and provide education on their proper use.
  • Help assist orthopedic/emergency physicians with reductions, stabilizing patients while the procedure is performed and applying splints and slings as needed.
  • Document all services performed accurately and completely within patient medical charts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider required.
