Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Public Health Nutritionist to support a client focused on enhancing the health of women, infants, and children through the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a nutrition expert for WIC program staff and participants.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on USDA WIC program guidelines.
- Conduct screenings and assessments for WIC participants, ensuring accurate data recording.
- Assign suitable food packages and manage prescriptions for specialized infant and child formulas.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A permanent Louisiana Dietitian/Nutritionist License.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public health nutrition or clinical dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian credentials.
- Proficiency in LAWIN, Outlook, and Louisiana Medicaid systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
