**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic - Hourly
**Location:** Nationwide
**Shift:** 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am)
**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent is required
**Experience:** 2-4 years of experience is required
**Job Responsibilities:
- Install, repair or move various sizes and types of foundry machinery and equipment
- Maintain adequate stock of spare parts for foundry equipment
- Use a lathe, drill, forge power hammer, and welding equipment to repair foundry machines
- Replace parts in foundry equipment
- Work from drawings, charts, and sketches, use micrometers, dividers, calipers, protractors and other tools as necessary to complete a repair job
- All activities associated with the analysis and repair of all electrical and mechanical problems on foundry systems and equipment
- May be responsible for minor plumbing and welding
**Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on foundry equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in foundry equipment technology
**Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; trade school or trade training is preferred
- 2-4 years of experience is required
- Ability to work from sketches, drawings, layouts or general instructions for repairs
- Ability to use scale, ruler, level, calipers, micrometer, etc for repairs
- Knowledge of elementary mechanic, power transmission problems and foundry machines
