Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Essentia Health, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes. You will utilize advanced computer-assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems to ensure optimum diagnostic clarity for physician interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate specialized MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Education and Licensure:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registered in MRI by the ARRT within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
