At Albany Medical Center, we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our dynamic Critical Care Float Pool team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to develop and practice critical care skills in various areas, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and our intermediate care ICU - the MSICU.

We offer a competitive hourly range of $34.65-$35.69, with opportunities for growth and professional development. The Clinical Nurse contributes significantly to patient care management decisions, providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. You will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

A successful candidate will possess a graduate degree from a professional academic nursing program and hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license. They must also obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and have a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
