About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Sales Associate - Pet Care Specialist at Pet Supermarket. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and their pets, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers in selecting the right products for their pets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including pet enclosures and merchandise displays.
  • Assist with restocking merchandise, moving products from the stockroom to the sales floor, and heavy lifting up to 55lbs as needed.
  • Support in maintaining the fish system and ensuring all animals have appropriate food and water.
  • Work as part of the store team to meet or exceed targeted sales goals and maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Preferred retail or customer service experience.
  • Enjoy working with and around animals.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
