About the Job

Urban Ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage urban development projects in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 5+ years of experience in land development engineering project design, planning, and management. The successful candidate will be based in our Annandale or Chantilly office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop land development projects from concept to completion
  • Manage project teams and coordinate with internal and external engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with locality requirements and regulations
  • Prepare full sets of construction plans and perform quality control checks
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and deliver high-quality results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • EIT certification is preferred but not required
  • Experience in designing, preparing, and processing land development applications in Northern Virginia jurisdictions is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
