Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Campus Construction Manager to join our team at the University of Washington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead construction projects on our 2 million square foot campus.

About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as the main project resource for all phases of assigned facility projects, managing multiple projects with varying schedules, budgets, and other constraints. They will be responsible for maintaining project controls, providing clear direction to contractor teams, and coordinating logistics with clinical leaders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from planning to closeout
  • Coordinate with contractors, designers, and hospital leadership
  • Maintain project documentation and controls
  • Provide clear direction to contractor teams
  • Coordinate logistics with clinical leaders
Furniture Liaison

The successful candidate will also act as a Furniture Liaison, processing incoming furniture requests, coordinating quotes and procurement with vendors, and overseeing furniture installations.

Move Coordination

They will also be responsible for Move Coordination, processing incoming move requests, assisting with major capital projects, and being the single point of contact for move coordination.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or planning
  • 6-8 years of experience in construction project management, move coordination, or small projects management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
