Job Title: Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team at Triangle Smart Divorce. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys and clients in the preparation and presentation of cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Conduct research and gather information to support case development
  • Communicate with clients and other parties to provide updates and gather information
  • Manage and maintain client files, including organizing and updating case materials
  • Prepare and file pleadings with the court, track and monitor court filings, and assist with trial preparation
  • Assist clients with document gathering, preparing budgets and spreadsheets, and preparing discovery responses and affidavits
Requirements:
  • Certified Paralegal by the North Carolina State Bar
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Previous Family Law experience preferred
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn additional software platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience managing a full case load
