Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
