Funeral Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled Funeral Ambassador to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on the job requirements and industry standards in the funeral services sector.

This role involves performing a variety of tasks during the funeral and memorialization process, ensuring services run smoothly, and exceeding client family expectations.

• Greeting and Directing: Welcoming and guiding client families and their guests to the correct chapel.
• Memorialization Support: Directing visitors to guest books, distributing memorial materials as needed, and providing general assistance to client families.
• Care and Preparation: Ensuring public spaces are clean and prepared prior to and after services.
• Vehicular Operations: Overseeing parking areas, arranging ceremonial vehicles, and driving hearses, limousines, or other vehicles in funeral corteges.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education and Experience: A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. At least one year of experience in funeral arranging is desired.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and an acceptable driving record.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingualism is a plus.
