Respiratory Care Clinician

Overview:
AdaptHealth LLC seeks a skilled Respiratory Care Clinician to provide top-notch ventilation care services to patients in their homes. As a Ventilation Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and delivering high-quality clinical assessments.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a passion for ventilator care to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients requiring ventilator support, including evaluations of respiratory function, oxygen therapy administration, and airway clearance management.
- Ventilator Management: Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilators according to company policies and procedures.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on proper ventilator use, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and clinical findings in accordance with company standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or issues.
- Travel: Travel throughout the service area to conduct home visits and provide clinical services as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- License: Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- Experience: One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- Certifications: CPR certification
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary: $65,000 per annum, based on location and experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
