Job Summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Specialist to fill a 13-week contract position in Ft. Myers, FL. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive CAT Scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans, ensuring timely completion of post-processing.
  • Conduct CTAs with effective post-processing, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff.
  • Efficiently handle trauma patient scans, utilizing GE 650 and Siemens Perspective equipment.
  • Manage medications during distribution or administration as needed, accessing secured drug storage areas.
  • Lead in coordinating radiology care across various settings, demonstrating leadership abilities in a radiology setting.

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification.
  • Valid Florida state license in CT Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in coronary CTA and invasive CT procedures preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to float is a must.
  • Experience with GE 650 and Siemens Perspective.
