Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Korzen Health is partnering with Healogics and Mercey Regional Medical Center to hire a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner.

We offer comprehensive training in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Our team will provide full support from the initial start date. The Wound Care Center is an Academic Affiliated program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform wound assessments, debridements, and dressings, as well as apply skin substitutes and hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
  • Treat an average of 10-15 patients per day, with a majority of wound care and less than 5% Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
  • Work a standard Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm, with 40 hours a week.
  • Collaborate with a full team, including Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front and Back-end support.
  • Treat adult and geriatric patients.
  • Participate in a bonus plan and have opportunities for growth within leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of NP experience in a procedural environment (i.e. urgent care wound care specialist medical office). We may be able to substitute similar RN experience in lieu.
  • Nurse Practitioner license.
  • MSN, Board certified.
  • DEA license.
