Senior Ecologist

R2T, Inc. is a leading provider of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction services in the United States. With a strong team of professionals, we offer a wide range of services, including conceptual planning, design development, permitting and regulatory compliance, watershed management, design-build, construction, and operations phase services.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Ecologist/Biologist to join our team in our Dunwoody or Roswell, GA office. As a key member of our Ecological Services team, you will be responsible for performing detailed field studies, including water resources planning, wetland delineations, and environmental compliance tasks. You will report directly to our company President and work closely with our team to deliver high-quality projects.

• Develop and implement ecology work plans for transportation, engineering, and other projects.
• Compile and review reports, documents, and permits associated with environmental resources.
• Coordinate with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies, as well as GDOT staff.
• Prepare NEPA documentation, Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 404/401 permit applications, and Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GEPD) Stream Buffer Variance (SBV) applications.
• Complete tasks needed for LDP Permits and attend GDOT GPTQ Ecology meetings and networking events.
• Conduct water resources planning studies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, technology, or a related field of study.
• 10+ years of experience in ecologist/biologist-related work.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and valid driver's license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US and pass a background check, drug test, and alcohol screening test.
• Must be able to work out of the R2T, Inc. Dunwoody or Roswell, GA offices.
