A client is seeking a Logistics Manager with acquisition support experience to support a large program at Hanscom AFB. This resource will report directly to a Program Manager and be responsible for directing a complex program, which may involve multiple customer locations. The Logistics Manager will direct the efforts of a substantial number of administrative and professional support staff in carrying out tasks necessary to meet program milestones. They must have demonstrated capabilities for oral and written communications with all levels of staff and management. They should have in-depth knowledge of the areas for which responsibility is given and be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. This resource will assist customer and contractor personnel to develop and review program plans, deliverable status, milestone schedules, assignments, costs, etc. They will also ensure conformance with schedules and costs and advise the Government on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as it conforms to the primary objectives for AFSO21.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the efforts of a substantial number of administrative and professional support staff
  • Develop and review program plans, deliverable status, milestone schedules, assignments, costs, etc.
  • Ensure conformance with schedules and costs
  • Advise the Government on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of logistics management experience in the federal/defense space
  • Acquisition support experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
