Wine Tasting Room Sales Associate

Herzog Wine Cellars is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team in Oxnard, CA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote wine and merchandise sales through effective communication and relationship-building with guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Assist in preparing monthly wine club packages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Unload wine cases and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations, including effective communication and traffic flow management.
  • Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve set sales targets.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in a wine tasting room, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter with ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction.
Compensation:
  • $18/hour plus tips.
  • Commission for all wine club membership sales (paid monthly).
