Soccer Referee

i9 Sports - Madison, WI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Soccer Referee to join our team. As a critical role in any sports field, the Official is responsible for enforcing rules while cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs.

• Enforce the i9 Sports rules book to ensure a fun, learning, and safe environment for all players.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to promote a positive and respectful atmosphere.
• Manage game time and scorekeeping, while providing age-appropriate instruction and competition.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills to ensure a high-quality experience for players, coaches, and spectators.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with players, coaches, and staff.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience to bring a high level of expertise to the role.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships with players, coaches, and staff.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the duration of the season.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
