Job Description

YMCA of Reading & Berks County is seeking a Part Time Fitness Instructor to lead diverse fitness classes and contribute to creating a positive and energetic environment.

As a Fitness Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate others through dynamic workouts and engaging instruction. You will foster effective communication with class participants, adjusting class content and intensity to meet their needs and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading fitness classes at scheduled times throughout the week
  • Providing participants with a safe and effective workout, ensuring their well-being while using any equipment
  • Guiding and informing participants on proper exercise form
  • Fostering effective communication with class participants

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Certified instructor for specific class that is being applied for
  • Ability to obtain a child abuse, criminal, and FBI background clearance
