**About the Role:**

Occam Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our information systems and networks from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, cloud services, and security best practices. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing security architectures, monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with IT teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement security architectures for various systems and applications.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the system.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of servers, firewalls, and other devices.

**Requirements:**

  • Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and VPN configurations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Army ATO process, RMF, and Emass.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking principles and identity access management practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**What We Offer:**

  • $120,972 - $150,000 per year.

**Schedule and Work Location:**

8 hour shift with remote work options.
